How Much Does it Cost?

The 25 WOMEN IN BUSINESS for 2025 Portrait Experience is $590. The total value is over $1200.

What is Included?

Each of the selected 25 participants will receive the following:

1. Consultation We start by planning your shoot and wardrobe so that you get photos for your marketing and print materials that are unique to you.

2. Visual Brand Check-up You’ll receive a review of your current brand visuals for consistency: brand colors, website, SEO, and marketing. Then we craft a plan to bring it to life.

3. Hair and Makeup On the day of your photo shoot, our professional styling artistry will have you looking your photo-ready best.


4. Magazine-style Photo Session 45-minute photo shoot in the studio, multiple outfit changes, and you’ll be guided on just how to pose and what to do in your photos.


5. Retouched Image Choose one stunning digital Business Portrait and have the opportunity to purchase more professionally edited images (bundle for savings).

6. Magazine Feature Your feature in the studio’s First Impressions Magazine.

7. Networking Event Be celebrated as an honored attendee at our culminating event for business owners.

Our photography studio is located in Alpharetta, GA—just off Main Street. All services are by appointment only.

I'm Mo, the owner of Mo Lima Photography. Before I became a Certified Professional portrait photographer, I worked in marketing and digital marketing for Fortune 500 and 100 companies for almost 20 years.

As I reimagined my career and started my own business, I felt the need to connect with other business owners and in particular women business owners. It’s our duty to uplift each other and support one another to be successful in our individual businesses. I am always interested in helping other small business owners I’ve worked with, networked with, or have employed. It’s important to support local economies and women are a big part of that.

FAQs

What should I wear?

About a week before the photo session, we'll have a Design Consultation so I will know how you want to be photographed and what styles you like. We discuss clothes, styling, and hair and makeup. I'll even share some inspiration from other clients.

I encourage you to bring 3 to 5 outfits to the photo session with accessories or items you would like to include in the session.

How long does the photo session take?

Hair styling and makeup usually take 90 minutes. The photo session can last another 90 minutes. Allow 3-4 hours total.

What days do you have available for this photo shoot?

We have appointments available for shoots during weekday mornings by appointment. We only hold sessions a couple of times per month. Availability is first come first served. On your phone chat with Mo, she will share the next available dates for an opening that works for you.

Do you professionally retouch my photos?

Yes, we do, but with a light hand. We don't completely remove facial lines, but soften the lines and shadows next to them. Professional lighting does a great job of minimizing shadows too. I also edit any unflattering clothing bulges and wrinkles. If there are any trouble spots you'd like touched up more, just let me know.

How many pictures do I get? What if I want more?

Each participant receives one complimentary digital image as part of the campaign. Once any of my clients see their stunning photos, they often want them all. You'll have the opportunity at the Reveal Session to purchase additional photos. Additional photographs ala carte are $250. Collections start at $1200. The more you purchase with larger collections, the more the price per image decreases.

What if I booked my date and then have to reschedule?

We book our hair & makeup artist's time in advance so that they clear their calendar for your photoshoot. To be fair, we require a rescheduling fee of $100. We understand that life happens though! Therefore, you are allowed one reschedule if it is more than 12 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 12 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) a $100 rescheduling fee will be applied.
